As well as livestock sales, Martcymru provides an outlet for diversifying farmers and other agricultural and rural businesses in Wales to promote their products and services. To add to this, a classified advertising system is available and simple to access and use.
Our chief aim is to provide a marketing tool accessible via the World Wide Web. Martcymru aims to be comprehensive, yet user-friendly. It seeks to address product traceability, livestock or otherwise, by integrating directly with systems such as the Cattle Tracing System (CTS).
The marketing opportunities that arise from being comprehensive and web-enabled are extensive. Martcymru offers sophisticated tools allowing sellers to display livestock, goods or services, and allowing buyers access to restricted details on what they want, when they want, therefor better matching supply and demand.
